Professional Pathways

Membership that grows with your work.

Choose the professional level that reflects your present experience. Applications are reviewed to confirm the best fit.

Developing supervisor path

Associate Music Supervisor

For active music supervisors who do not yet meet full membership credit requirements, as well as music coordinators, assistants, and clearance professionals working directly for productions or music supervisors.

This pathway is based on direct music supervision experience. Adjacent industry roles alone do not qualify for Associate Membership.

Annual dues $100

Membership includes

Professional membership

Music Supervisor

For established music supervisors with active professional experience, whether working independently, through a supervision company, in-house for a media organization, or recognized through a substantial career in the field.

Freelance Independent supervisors and supervisors working at companies whose primary purpose is music supervision. Annual dues $150 per year

Apply as Freelance
Corporate Full-time supervisors at studios, networks, production companies, trailer houses, agencies, game publishers, and similar companies. Annual dues $150 per year

Apply as Corporate
Legacy Retired or semi-retired supervisors whose careers have made a significant contribution to the craft. Annual dues $100 per year
